Life Skills Workshops

Empowerment Resources, Inc. (ERI) is adamant about doing all it can, to serve as many local youths as possible. Vulnerable girls live throughout the community and may not have access to JIW, and at present the organization does not offer a Journey program for boys. We address this gap in service by offering a fee-based life skills and leadership development training at the request of other organizations. These workshops and retreats are fully customizable for faith groups, educations institutions, and youth serving organizations.

ERI empowers students in grades 3rd through 12th to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their well-being and equips them with the necessary tools to make positive decisions through its Life Skills Workshops.

ERI’s interactive workshops range from 60 minutes to a half-day and can be customized for after school or summer programs in a wide range of settings. The curriculum is a condensed and gender neutral version of the JIW program covering some of the same issues critical to young people.
